Change in Rake / Hook
Flute grinding also effects the rake or hook face. Rake can be positive, negative or neutral depending on the material being tapped, so It is important that it is maintained during resharpening. At TapSaver we pre-inspect taps for hook / rake to duplicate it when resharpened. At this time, if a change in rake / hook is desired It can be done.
